You know, somewhere in the top of the 8th, I found myself reverting back to the Red Sox fan I was in pre-2004. The “here-we-go-again” kind.
But after Tek’s amazing play on the squeeze bunt attempt, I called my dad and harked that we were going to win. In fact, we HAD to win, after such an unbelievable play.
By the way, Cyn…doesn’t Lowrie look like your cousin George Port?
Also, eff the Rays…we’re gonna kick their asses! Go Sawx!

i “watched” the game on ESPN gamecast while sitting next to a pool in hong kong. can’t believe how exciting watching blips and names appear around a diamond can be. not as good as watching on tv or being there obviously, but i was able to be a fan for sure and wooooo captures my feelings there beside the pool.
