Why is this still an issue? Teixeira was signed WEEKS ago, and people are still griping about it (although the gripes went from the “Yankees’ spending spree” to “the Sox got duped” to “Leigh Teixeira”).

The Teixeiras went where they wanted to go and got the money they wanted to get. That simple.

The entries and comments in the Red Sox blogs I’ve read around the internet are like those of a high-school girl who didn’t get the attention of the local stud. Get over it already.
