That's good to know, Terry, thanks for the info.

Still a dumb thing for Posada to have provoked.

Turns out John McDonald didn't punch Girardi and was extremely upset the next day when that's how it was written by the media and various bloggers. He and Girardi talked before last night's game. Girardi knew it wasn't Johnny Mac, who he called "a local kid." Girardi said he was accidentally elbowed by one of his own players.

It's a song called "Homecoming" from the band Hey Monday.

(And glad I could make your day. I really love it when people know who to give the credit to for "Hallelujah"!)

True Story: Usually I get your song allusions in the title. I didn't get this one, but then about 6 p.m. i was coming home from the Liquor Store and I heard this song that seems to work for it. Paul Simon singing a song I'd never heard him sing before. And I thought that might be a strange moment of synchronicity.

And then the weird game tonite happened.

So, just curious, what song are u alluding to here?

(andI realllyreally apppreciate the Leonard Cohen reference from a week or two ago. When I read it, it made my day)

It was indeed wonderful to see "that" Daisuke last night. I really appreciate it if he feels ashamed he hasn't earned his worth this season. I know other pitchers that "stole" millions and showed not the least little bit of contrition.

Poor-sada thought he saw a good opportunity to get the last word in with that little nudge, but he got caught. I hope it costs his team a game or two.
