I drank my first beer that night…unremarkable except for the fact that I was way over 21..just didn’t drink beer. That night…I drank many! I watched it in the “Green Room” at Channel 7/WROR/WRKO where I worked with a whole bunch of crazed people. I’ll never forget it.

At the Bosox Luncheon last week, Skip Lockwood’s (80’s Sox)
wife was there promoting her new book “Major League Wife”.
I think that was the name but there could be a slight variation on that. Anyway, it sounded like it might be a good read if you are interested in what that crazy lifestyle might be.

I was living in Dallas in 1975 and had to watch the game by myself. It’s the first time I remember shouting at the TV while watching a game when I was alone. It was a great game and I’m going to try and win the book.

I just bought the book in the Kindle version. The first non-fiction book I’ve bought and the first with pictures. Picture definition’s not wonderful and it’s in monochrome. I’ll let you know how it reads.

Sounds like a fun book. I remember that night fondly, I was sitting on the floor of a basement dorm room at U Mass, with my dearest friends, going nuts.
