Today’s Internet Find ~ Winlin!

Mike Timlin aka "Winlin" (Image lifted from the Arthur Wiki)

I will fully admit to having recorded this episode of “Arthur” when it was first aired even though I had never watched it before and I even own a digital copy of the episode somewhere…but it has been YEARS since I even gave this a thought. And then today I happened upon this photo and it brought back all kinds of fun memories.

Mike Timlin as “Winlin” a pitcher for the Elwood City Grebes.  I don’t even know what he’s supposed to be, but the cartoon version of Mike with antlers and his goatee makes me ridiculously happy.  So today I share my happiness with you.

Check out the videos below to see Winlin along with his friends Playmon (Johnny Damon) and Bateria (Edgar Renteria). Note that Winlin gives up a three-run homer in the first video (because his manager pitches him every damn game!) and check out the second video where you get to hear Mike Timlin recite Emily Dickinson.
